Pixel Laser Resurfacing

A results-driven laser for texture, pores, scars, and overall skin renewal

Pixel laser resurfacing is one of our most effective tools for improving the look and feel of the skin—especially when texture is the primary concern. Using controlled laser energy, Pixel creates microscopic treatment zones that prompt the skin to shed damaged cells and rebuild smoother, healthier-looking tissue over time.

At Skin Revival, Pixel isn’t a “quick pass and done” treatment. It’s a custom protocol—selected, prepped, and supported properly—so you get real change without unnecessary downtime.

What Pixel Laser Resurfacing Is Best For

Pixel is ideal when you’re looking to improve the appearance of:

  • Uneven texture and roughness

  • Enlarged pores / pore congestion

  • Acne scarring (and other textural scarring)

  • Fine lines and crepey texture

  • Sun damage and dullness

  • Overall skin rejuvenation and refinement

If your main concern is pigment or redness, we may recommend IPL or other laser options first—or combine modalities strategically.

How Pixel Works

Pixel delivers laser energy in a fractional pattern, meaning it treats a percentage of the skin at a time while leaving surrounding tissue intact. That “fractional” approach supports faster recovery and more controlled results.

This process helps:

  • Trigger accelerated cellular turnover

  • Stimulate collagen remodeling (firmness + texture refinement)

  • Smooth surface irregularities and soften the look of scars

  • Improve overall clarity and radiance as the skin renews

Our Pixel Levels

We offer multiple Pixel intensities so we can match the treatment to your skin, your schedule, and your goals.

1) Pixel Lite (Low Downtime Refresh)

A lighter resurfacing option designed for glow, mild texture, early pores, and subtle refinement.
Downtime: typically 1–3 days of mild dryness/tightness.

Best for:

  • First-time laser clients

  • Busy schedules

  • Maintenance and seasonal refreshes

2) Pixel Resurfacing (Standard)

Our most popular middle-ground option for noticeable texture and pore refinement with manageable recovery.
Downtime: typically several days of redness + dryness, with light flaking as the skin renews.

Best for:

  • Moderate texture concerns

  • Visible pores

  • Early scarring or stubborn roughness

3) Pixel Peel (Advanced Resurfacing + Enhanced Protocol)

A more intensive protocol designed for clients who need a stronger correction for texture concerns. This level combines deeper resurfacing with an enhanced post-treatment plan to maximize results responsibly.
Downtime: higher than standard; your provider will review what to expect based on your skin and treatment area.

Best for:

  • More significant texture concerns

  • More advanced scarring

  • Clients ready for a stronger correction plan

What It Feels Like

Most clients describe Pixel as warm with a prickly or snapping sensation. Comfort strategies are used based on the level selected, and your technician will guide you through what’s normal during and after treatment.

Downtime and What to Expect After

Recovery depends on the intensity level and the area treated. Common, expected responses can include:

  • Redness (from mild to moderate)

  • Tightness and dryness

  • Flaking or sandpaper-like texture for a few days

  • Temporary sensitivity

Your skin continues improving after the appointment as turnover and collagen remodeling progress.

Who Is Not a Good Candidate?

Pixel may not be suitable if you have:

  • Active infection, open lesions, or uncontrolled inflammation in the treatment area

  • Recently tanned skin or inability to avoid sun exposure

  • Certain medications or recent use of products that increase sensitivity

  • A history of poor healing or scarring (reviewed in consultation)

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (we typically postpone)

If you’re unsure, that’s exactly what the consultation is for.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Some clients love the results from a single treatment, but most texture concerns improve best with a series. Your plan depends on:

  • Depth of texture/scarring

  • Skin resilience and healing capacity

  • Your downtime tolerance

  • Whether we’re pairing Pixel with other modalities

We’ll map out a plan that makes sense—no over-treating, no guesswork.

Why Skin Revival’s Pixel Results Are Different

Pixel is powerful—but results depend on how it’s selected, how it’s performed, and how the skin is supported afterwards.

Our approach includes:

  • Proper candidacy screening and prep guidance

  • Customized intensity selection (not “one setting for everyone”)

  • Treatment mapping based on area, texture type, and skin response

  • Post-care strategy to protect the barrier and support regeneration

  • Long-term planning (because texture changes aren’t one-and-done)

Aftercare Matters

Laser resurfacing results are heavily influenced by what you do after treatment. You’ll receive clear instructions, but the basics include:

  • Strict sun protection

  • Gentle, barrier-supportive skincare only

  • Avoiding heat, sweating, and exfoliation during recovery

  • Following timing rules for actives (retinoids, acids, etc.)
