How laser hair removal works
Laser hair removal works by delivering controlled light energy into the hair follicle. The pigment in the hair absorbs the energy, damaging the follicle and reducing its ability to produce new hair.
Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are required to target follicles during their active growth phase. With proper spacing and consistent sessions, hair becomes finer, lighter, and significantly reduced.

What to expect
Before Treatment
You’ll receive clear instructions on shaving, skincare, and sun exposure prior to your session.
During Treatment
Most clients describe the sensation as quick warmth or snapping. Treatments are fast, and comfort is closely monitored throughout.
After Treatment
Mild redness or warmth may occur temporarily. Normal activities can usually be resumed immediately, with aftercare guidance provided.
How Many Sessions Will it Take?
Unfortunately there is no specific answer to this. However, based on our experience and in-house success rate, we generally recommend a minimum of 6 to 10 sessions for maximum hair reduction. This is seen through a steady decrease of 10+% of hair per session. You may always do electrolysis after laser hair removal to treat any remaining hairs.

How Often Will My Appointments Be?
At the start, appointments will be anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the growth and body part. After a while you will not notice any growth during this time frame, and appointments will begin to spread further apart as we wait for re-growth.
Will All My Hair Be Gone forver?
Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction, not instant or guaranteed permanent removal. Many clients experience significant, lasting reduction with occasional maintenance sessions as needed.
Hormonal changes can influence hair growth over time, which is why maintenance is sometimes recommended.
Will It Hurt?
Although laser is not meant to be painful, each person’s perception of pain is different. We want you to be comfortable, and will always adjust our treatments accordingly. It is completely normal to experience mild heat and a snapping sensation.
Once I Am Done, Is There Any Maintenance Required?
Our bodies are constantly changing, so we do recommend maintenance treatments in order to maximize your hair reduction. Once a series is complete, we suggest a follow-up after six months and maintenance once a year (unless re-growth is noticed earlier). Pregnancy and menopause can trigger new growth. If you notice re-growth kindly book a follow up to have the hair assessed.
